He was telling me about all the goals he had in his twenties, and now approaching 50, he felt the pain of regret at how little he has achieved.
“Every year I set goals but I never achieve them. I’ve got hundreds of goals but I have accomplished so few. Why do I keep failing? I'm smart. I've worked with a-list companies, I've done a ton of self-help courses. I just can't crack this."
With 92% of people who set goals failing to achieve them, he's not the exception. Failing to achieve goal is the NORM.
